Comimos una fondue de queso INCREIBLE a las 16 de la tarde. Volvíamos de conocer la fábrica de Lindt y era muestro último día en Zurich. La trajeron rápido, con pan y papas. Nosotras adicionamos pepinos y cebollas en vinagre. Tomamos 2 copas de vino blanco de la casa espectacular. La atención de los chicos impecable xq hablaban inglés y francés. Buscamos recomendaciones a ultimo minuto y tenian mesa disponible, porque no era epoca tursitica. El fondue de queso estaba exquisito, al igual que el pan que lo acompaña. El precio en realidad es lo mismo en todos lados para ese plato. Nos atendio una chica brasileños muy amable, se agradece la posibilidad de servicio de varios idiomas para poder comunicarse. ~ Alice H

Ich habe an meinem Geburtstag das Restaurant besucht und bin absolut begeistert! Baris hat den Abend für mich unvergesslich gemacht. Er war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hat alles getan, damit ich mich wohlfühle. Seine Empfehlungen waren top, das Essen war fantastisch, und der Service einfach nur perfekt. Посетили данное заведение 05.01.2025. Еда типично швейцарская, но приготовлена идеально - Rösti (рёшти, жареный картофель) и мясо наивкуснейшие! Особенно хочется отметить официанта, который нас обслуживал - Baris - очень приятный молодой человек, свободно говорящий на нескольких языках. Клиентоориентированность и дружелюбие на высшем уровне. Really good food (Swiss and Italian), friendly service. Worried after already striking out at one spot for a Saturday night dinner without reservations, we were very glad they were able to accommodate us! They took our rain covered coats too. The servers were very friendly and overall we had a really lovely meal. Everybody had a great meal. Cordon blue with salad and raspberry dressing. The raspberry dressing was delicious! I made everybody try it and all around it was liked. Pasta with veal strips. Wienerschnitzel (my little taste was great and the fries were good too) Risotto with mushrooms. Penne arribiata. Desserts were equally as delicious. My favorite was the crème brulé. We also tried the chocolate cake, chocolate mousse (a lot of mousse!!) and the apple strudel which mom loved. ~ Becky M

Man sitzt wunderschön im sonnigen Innenhof, auch die Innenräume sahen aber sehr gemütlich aus. Wir haben besser gegessen als in manchen Sternerestaurants, in denen man das dreifache bezahlt hat. Das Menü war sehr gelungen, kreativ und handwerklich hochwertig. Die Atmosphäre und der Service sind sehr freundlich . Absolute Empfehlung, ein außergewöhnliches Restaurant! ~ Hilmi M

We did a walk through Zurich’s old town and we were looking for a place to dine. Then we found this restaurant and we came in without any expectations as we knew nothing about it. The food was excellent, well prepared and fresh, in addition, It’s a very nice place in the old town. The Wiener Schnitzel was as big and tasty as in Vienna and my father was happy with his Pouletbrustfilet! The desserts were also delicious and tasty ( Apfelstrudel and Kaiserschmarrn ). The service was polite and efficient with a special mention of Max, who found time in a full restaurant to speak with us and answer our questions! While we were having dinner, we checked the reviews about this restaurant and we were not surprised that this one had excellent reviews. Das Restaurant Zum Königstuhl bietet mit Abstand das beste Wiener Schnitzel, das ich je in der Schweiz gegessen habe! Die Atmosphäre ist äußerst angenehm, und das wunderschöne Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Richtig cooles Restaurant in Zürich, vor allem für alle, die auf veganes Essen stehen – mega lecker! Aber das Highlight ist echt der Service. Ich hatte das Vergnügen, im Restaurant zum Königstuhl zu speisen, und es war eine fantastische Erfahrung! Das Wiener Schnitzel war perfekt zubereitet und schmeckte ausgezeichnet. We are new to Zurich so definitely cheese fondue was on the list and this restaurant came up top in the list upon our search, on a Saturday going there without reservations seemed like a Hercules task but we were lucky to get a table, the servers and the host were extremely gracious answering all our questions with utmost patience and also recommending few dishes to try including the drinks to pair with cheese fondue. The fondue was amazing, it is an acquired taste for sure and extremely filling, but we made the right choice to try it the first time at this restaurant, loved the vibe, and also the experience. We paired a beer but wines are recommended, infact dry wines go best. ~ Harsimran K

Delicious. I never tried fondue before so I thought I’ll give it a try during my transit in Zurich because I love cheese. The waiter was very friendly and explained everything. We had the morels fondue, original schnitzel, local brewed beers and water. The portion was quite big, especially the schnitzel. It was big thin crispy and very tasty. Best schnitzel I had. The fondue also very good and I almost want to just eat them straight like soup 😂, my husband had a bad experience with fondue in the past and was hesitant in to try it again but this was very good and not smelly! Personally, I feel it was a bit pricy in beginning but after enjoying the meal it was very worth it! ~ Claudia W

Ausgezeichnetes Mittagsessen. Das Essen war sehr gut, auch wenn die Preiselbeer begleitung zum Cordon Bleu eher exotisch erscheint. Für den Service vor allem durch Herr Baris, reichen 5 Sterne nicht aus. Selbst im Baur au Lac war der Service und das Auge zum Detail, nicht mit dem von ihm zu vergleichen. Sehr schönes Restaurant, leckeres Essen, tolles Fondue und noch besser war das nette Personal. Es wurde auf jedes kleine Detail geachtet und vor allem der nette Baris ist einzigartig, sympathisch und man merkt dass er seine Arbeit liebt ! Pedimos 2 fondue para compartir entre 3 y una jarra de vino de la zona de aproximadamente media botella. Los fondue elegidos fueron Trüffel y Königstuhl, nos guiamos por los comentarios. Wir verbrachten einen wundervollen Abend im Restaurant Zum Königstuhl. Die Terrasse, die sich im Rosenhof befindet, bietet eine romantische Atmosphäre. Sehr tolles lokal mit sehr zentraler Lage. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, kompentent und bemüht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfagen und bedient. Sehr gutes Schweizerisches Restaurant mit interessanter und vielseitiger Speisekarte. Obwohl wir spontan und ohne vorgängige Reservation aufkreuzten, fühlten wir uns von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde sehr willkommen und haben die wirklich gute Qualität der liebevoll angerichteten Speisen sehr genossen. Ich war mit drei Freunden zu einem Abendessen gekommen und anschliessend haben wir noch die Europameisterschaft live angeschaut. Klassiker der schweizerischen Küche gibts' hier, ergänzt um einige Evergreens aus der Nachbarschaft - Wiener Schnitzel, Spaghetti Carbonara. Alles sehr fein zubereitet, der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam und die Preise sind - inbesondere gemessen an der Lage im touristischen Herzen von Zürich - vollkommen in Ordnung. Cibo di altissima qualità, fonduta buonissima e sembra che non finisca mai! Älplermagronen buonissimo, delicato e affatto pesante. Mousse aal cioccolato deliziosa! Ho messo 4 al servizio solo perché pur non essendo pieno ogni tanto sembra abbandonato, ma i camerieri molto simpatici e cortesi. ~ giorgio a
